David Serrano Blanquer (Sabadell, 1966).

Doctor of Philology at the UAB, with the first Doctoral thesis in Spain on European literature of the Nazi camps.

Teacher. Faculty of communication and international relations at the Blanquerna of the Ramon Llull University in Barcelona. Secondary school and college professor.

Founder and director of the research centre on the concentrationary European literature (CILEC). Member of a research group on exile, deportation and Holocaust (Democratic Memorial of the Government of Catalonia). Member of the CONINCOM (URL).

Researcher. On Francoist and nazi repression, focusing especially on the construction of the testimony. He has published numerous books, essays and monographs.

Novelist. He has published two novels: one in the field of education and another one on the memory of the Shoah.

Journalist. He has directed a literary magazine for 14 years and works with various audiovisual media.

Director of documentaries. He has written screenplays, produced and directed documentaries with international projection on the historical memory. He has received many awards in various international festivals for his direction, best movie and best documentary.
